Meet Ms. Ginkgo
Hi, I’m Irit Meidar—also known as Ms. Ginkgo! I’m the founder of Ginkgo Science and a passionate STEM educator with over a decade of teaching experience. I hold advanced degrees in Microbiology and Biomedical Sciences, and I’ve spent years designing engaging, hands-on science programs for young learners.
Our mission is simple: to spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and help children see the wonder in the world around them. In every class, we combine real science experiments, creative engineering challenges, and a whole lot of fun to make learning an unforgettable adventure. We can’t wait to meet your budding scientist!

Founded from a deep passion for early childhood education, Ginkgo Science brings high-quality enrichment programs to preschools, elementary schools, and community spaces across South Florida. We specialize in making science fun, approachable, and unforgettable for children ages 3 and up
Every class is built on a simple idea: learning by doing. From making slime and building bubble machines to designing robots and erupting mini volcanoes, our students explore real scientific concepts through playful experiments and creative engineering challenges.

Class Policy:
- Classes must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Classes are nonrefundable.
- You may reschedule or receive a credit for one class per se.
- In order to reschedule a class, you must give notice 24 hour notice.
- Only the registered child may attend a class.
- Please do not attend class if you or your child are unwell (fever > 100°, coughing, sneezing, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea within a 24 hour period) . Be courteous of other attendees and contact us for a class credit.
- By attending class you agree for your child photos to be taken and used on our site. Please contact us in case you do not want your child to be photographed.
- We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur during our classes.
